This two-volume series chronicles the life and career of the dean of American comedians, George Burns. A look at his life in vaudeville, radio, television, and movies gives the viewer an amusing look at the man who went on to play God. The documentary features clips of Burns with his beloved wife and comedic partner, Gracie Allen. Excerpts from his other comedic liaisons in film as well as interviews with family, friends, and colleagues provide an entertaining look at the comedian whose career spanned the 20th century.
