One of the pioneers of the "cinema of transgression," Nick Zedd and other filmmakers helped stimulate the underground cinema in New York City in the mid-'80s and 1990s. Most of Zedd's films epitomized offensive behavior and often included strong sexual, violent, or criminal elements. This video shows the full-length versions of some of Zedd's most controversial short works including Thrust in Me, Go to Hell, Kiss Me Goodbye, Police State, Whoregasm, Why Do You Exist, Tom Thumb in the Land of Giants, and Ecstasy in Entropy. Some of the performers featured in these films include Brenda Bergman, Rockets Redglare, and Annie Sprinkle.
