Synopsis by Robert Firsching
Cult director Giichi Nishihara made this outrageously perverse variation on the standard triangle of jealousy. Kiyoshi Nakayama stars as Seiji, who is having an affair with the voraciously sexual Maki (Keiko Sugi). When he returns to his wife Yuki, promising Maki that he will leave her soon, the depressed "other woman" decides to do some spying. When she peeks in his window and sees Seiji and Yuki making love, Maki hires some Yakuza hitmen to kill her lover's wife. The gangsters rape her, but Yuki survives to defeat Maki in a vicious fight to the death which ends in a bloody dismemberment of her husband's mistress. The film ends on a distinctly uncharming note, as Seiji and his wife make love as Maki rots under the bed. Despite its violence, this is Nishihara's most skillful film, as he concentrates on characterization and suspense far more here than in his usual sick rapefests.
