Synopsis by Rose of Sharon Winter
This instructional program addresses the primary concern of students facing the GED mathematics test: passing it. The use of the calculator is a critical part of the examination. First, there is instruction in the fundamentals of mathematics that the test will cover. Then, the student learns the basics of using the Casio FX-260 calculator, and understanding the key times for its use at exam time. The program offers many actual examples from prior tests, so that the student can improve rapidly through practice. Tips are offered on which calculator functions to emphasize, and which ones to ignore, while working toward a passing score on the GED.
