Miharu and Yushiro have been saved from Symbol's agents, but they have no clue as to the identity of their mysterious benefactor, or his motives. He arranges a place for them to rest, while he contacts Yushiro's team to pick him up. The team makes it back to the airport, but Symbol has another trick up their sleeves. In a last-ditch effort to retrieve the captured sample of the Belgistan TA's artificial muscle, they arrange for the flight to be delayed; but before U.S. soldiers can board the plane, Kazuharu Gowa has the pilots take off while he risks arrest and stays on the ground to negotiate. Once in the air, Captain Kitazawa decides that he's had enough and demands answers from Yushiro. But before he can respond, Armekistan fighters appear on radar and order the plane to change course, claiming violation of sovereign airspace. (American release in 2000.)
