Synopsis by Hal Erickson
This Sunday-afternoon series was a production of the CBC's Farm and Fisheries department. Host Earl Cox was the network's resident gardening expert, appearing in that capacity on dozens of other Canadian TV series. This program not only provided the usual gardening tips, but also paid visits to famous horticultural exhibits throughout the Dominion. Originally aired from April 2 to September 10, 1967, the series briefly returned in 1968, minus Earl Cox but with a number of guest hosts; during this period, the title was changed to Gardening With..., the dots replaced by the host of the week. The property was revived, again as Gardening With Earl Cox, from September 17, 1969 to March 29, 1970.
