The title is a bit of a misnomer. "Prop" comedian Gallagher is indeed the star, true enough. And he is quite mad. But as future concert videos would prove, what we see in this 1984 effort is hardly the "maddest" that Gallagher could be. The first of the comedian's video concerts, Gallagher: The Maddest comes to a halt directly after--you guessed it--SLEDGE-O-MATIC!!!
