Steven Charles Jaffe's documentary Gahan Wilson: Born Dead, Still Weird tells the life story of the award-winning illustrator, cartoonist, and writer, whose often perverse and grotesque images made him a legend in the realm of science-fiction writers, and something of an icon to fans of black comedy. The movie traces his remarkable career, which includes among many things contributing cartoons to Playboy, creating a comic-strip for National Lampoon, and publishing numerous short stories.
