Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Though its title may conjure up images of a dancing refrigerator, Frigidaire Entertains was actually a fairly ordinary Canadian variety series. What set this one apart from other programs of its kind was that it was staged in the manner of a weekly masked ball. Apparently even the guest stars wore masks and costumes, though it was still easy to recognize them. Broadcast by the CBC on Friday evenings, Frigidaire Entertains was seen from October 1, 1954 to July 1, 1955, bestowing major stardom on its co-host Frosia Gregory in the process.
