Filmmaker Court Crandall reveals a different side of Compton, California than the media often portrays in this inspirational documentary about eight Compton High School students who compete in basketball free throw competition for the chance to win a $40,000 college scholarship. As the eight students prepare for the competition that could change their lives, we hear their stories of struggle, and their dreams for the future.
