For a brief moment in the 1970s, Free were among Britain's greatest hard rock bands, before vocalist Paul Rodgers left to form Bad Company and guitarist Paul Kossoff quit to form the excellent but short-lived Back Street Crawler, which came to a halt when Kossoff died due to drug abuse in 1975. Free: Rock Review examines Free's short but stellar career, featuring evaluations of the group's seven albums and rare footage of Free in performance, taken from television appearances and promo clips. This video was produced without the authorization of the group or its members.
