The son of an Italian immigrant, Frank Sinatra became a world-renowned entertainer who rubbed elbows with presidents and mobsters. Part of the Frank Sinatra: His Life and Times video series, this program chronicles some of the celebrated and infamous people who ran with Sinatra (1915-1998) during his 50-year career. As Sinatra became one of the industry's most admired and sought-after entertainers, he came to personally know just about every major player in the entertainment business and beyond. His most notorious friendships were those with President John F. Kennedy and Sam Giancana, the Mafia boss of Chicago.
