Synopsis by Janiss Garza
A Kentucky feud between the Mitchells and the Lees has wiped out all the Lees except for old Ben (Charles Kent) and his granddaughter Morning Glory (May McAvoy), and all the Mitchells except for one, who was sent away from the mountains so he would never know his heritage. Surveyor Jack Winslow (Bruce Gordon) comes to the valley and he and Morning Glory fall in love. But Ben's half-wit handy man, Dave (William R. Dunn), becomes jealous and tries to interfere. He convinces Morning Glory that Jack is a Mitchell and is so persuasive that she shoots her lover. She doesn't kill him however, and he generously forgives his remorseful sweetheart.
