Synopsis by Janiss Garza
For his first Associated Producers release, director Allan Dwan chose a simple tale of spirituality and redemption. Abel Blake (James Kirkwood), a native of a Cape Cod fishing village, is a man of high moral standards. Nevertheless bad girl Glory Prada (Marcia Manon) manages to steal him away from his fiancee, Joan (Helen Jerome Eddy). Abel marries Glory, while Joan weds Dave (King Baggot), a suitor she had previously ignored. But Glory runs off with a circus man and is later found dead. Abel realizes he has ruined his life, and Joan's, and decides to commit suicide. But as he walks into the ocean, Joan's little boy calls him back. Joan's husband, by now, has also died, and she and Abel are reunited.
