Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Originally a local Montréal series, Focus was beamed out to the rest of Canada by the BBC beginning Monday, September 4, 1967. This weekly public-affairs effort offered candid glimpses behind the scenes of Canada's major industries, services, and entertainment outlets. Among the more memorable episodes was a half-hour profile of Johnny Newman, owner of the Montréal Beavers football team. Ending its initial network run on September 25, 1967, Focus was briefly revived as a Saturday series from April 29 to June 24, 1968.
