Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Focus was typical of the sort of summertime public-affairs programming which emanated from Canada's CBC during the TV service's formative years. Seen on Tuesday evenings, the program covered a variety of topics within the standard interview-discussion-debate format. "Peace of Mind," "Women," and "Job Discrimination" were among the episode titles. Hosted by preeminent Canadian journalists Sidney Katz and Dorothy Sangster, Focus was telecast from July 27 to September 7, 1954.
