This light comedy centers around completely inept kidnappers who hatch their ingenious plot based on a movie script they find. Within the opening scenes, the skillful directors of this seriously underfunded comedy film, have set up a sequence with a movie-review board refusing funds for a movie exactly like this comedy. But back to the kidnappers. They decide on little rich Angelika of the title (Petra Kloos), only to be forced into taking four of her friends as well. Not only do they end up with five lively victims, they have to trade their plans for a helicopter for the reality of a tractor instead. When the ransom money is finally dropped towards a road that runs under a bridge, it lands in the water and the continually benighted kidnappers have to work hard to fish it out. No one enjoys all this as much as the five victims, who rarely have had so much fun in their lives.
