Carol James (Mandy June Simpson) is making a documentary about The Flatwoods Monster – an alien seen in her hometown in the 1950s. However, once she starts digging too deep, she obtains actual evidence of alien life and soon becomes in contact with terrifying agents that will do whatever it takes to stop her footage from surfacing.
