Synopsis by Tracie Cooper
Originally released in 1985, this fictional Cold War thriller revolves around the Soviet Union's nefarious attempt to steal the U.S. Navy's submarine ballistic missile codes and trigger what could potentially become the downfall of the United States. Once the codes are successfully retrieved, the U.S.S.R. launches an attack on oil-rich areas of the Middle East in hopes of tricking the inhabitants into believing America was responsible for the strike. The film features Stuart Whitman and Persis Khambatta.
