Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

The hushed Christian exodus from the Middle East serves as the subject of Pierre Rehov's thought provoking, religious-themed documentary. In the past 20 years alone, approximately two million Christians have fled the Middle East. Their flight is the result of a variety of factors, including continued clashes between the Israelis and the Palestinians and the parallel decline of the economy. The primary factor feeding Christian malaise in the Middle East, however, is the continued persecution they encounter at the behest of their Muslim neighbors. In the Middle East, the old saying "First comes Saturday, then comes Sunday" is not a benign observation regarding the calendar system, but a chilling warning that after wiping out the Jews (who pray on Saturday), the Muslims will come for the Christians (who pray on Sunday). Interviews with Christians and exclusive footage revealing the threat they face under Islamic rule offer an alarming wake-up call to anyone who believes in freedom of religion.
