Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
This standard story of a woman's ill-fated existence starts when she stabs her loser, common-law husband to death after she discovers he has been married to another woman all along. Ayse (Hulya Koxyigit) gets thrown in jail for her crime, but following the maxim that a prisoner's first duty is to escape, she seduces one of the guards and through his complicity is soon out and free and eventually working as a cook in a mining camp. There she starts a liaison with the foreman of the mine and just when life seems to have settled down a little, the prison guard shows up and she has to get out of there fast. Her objective is to reach her two daughters -- still a dangerous choice because she is a hunted woman, and the police are well aware of her family connections.
