Set on earth in a post-apocalyptic world, this sci-fi drama follows Finch (Tom Hanks), a dying robotics engineer who is living in an underground bunker with his faithful dog Goodyear. But with his time running out, Finch has created a robot to care for Goodyear after he dies. The robot known as Jeff (Caleb Landry Jones) must learn all he can about humankind while on a treacherous trip to the American West, but coming between the bond of a man and his dog is going to be a difficult task.
