Synopsis by Kaitlin Elise Miller
This documentary chronicles the relationship between filmmaker Stanley Kubrick and his right-hand man, Leon Vitali. Vitali starred in Kubrick’s 1976 movie “Barry Lyndon” but abandoned his acting career to collaborate with the director on films such as “The Shining,” “Full Metal Jacket” and “Eyes Wide Shut.” Featuring Vitali’s personal photos and videos, as well as interviews with Kubrick’s other industry co-workers, including Ryan O’Neal, Stellan Skarsgard and R. Lee Ermey. Directed by Tony Zierra.
