Synopsis by Hal Erickson
From CBC's Ottawa studios, the weekly Canadian children's series Film Fun focused on the world of cartoons. On each episode, adult host Brian Smyth would discuss and demonstrate film-animation techniques with two movie-crazy youngsters -- one of whom, 14-year-old Bryan Stoller, was already an accomplished amateur filmmaker. Also included were interviews with Canada's top animators, and a brief but fascinating look at the burgeoning computer-animation industry. First telecast from December 4, 1974 to January 15, 1975, Film Fun was rebroadcast from October 5 to 26, 1976.
