Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Filmed in 1925, this Western was the first in a proposed series starring Billy Sullivan, a nephew of legendary prizefighter John L. Sullivan. The younger Sullivan had enjoyed some success as the star of "The Battling Cowboy" series of two-reelers produced at Universal in 1924. Leaving that studio, Sullivan signed a deal with poverty row company Rayart, but apparently only two Westerns were released, Fighting Thorobreds, directed by Harry J. Brown, and the better known Daring Deeds, produced and directed by Duke Worne and released in 1927.
