Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

A long-forgotten serial from low-budget company Rayart, Fighting for Fame starred boy actor Ben Alexander as Danny Ryan, a "printer's devil" caught up in waterfront intrigue. When Frank Manning (Eddie Fetherstone), Danny's boss, receives information that will implicate businessman Gordon Burr in various shenanigans on the waterfront, the latter plants a spy in Manning's newspaper office. Danny hooks up with Manning's pert secretary, Mary Aynsworth (Hazel Deane), and together they crack the underworld ring. Duke Worne directed, genre specialist George W. Pyper supplied the screenplay, and the serial was released in ten chapters.
