Synopsis by Janiss Garza
When a bum is injured in a railroad wreck, Peter and Barbara Cort (Bryant Washburn and Virginia Valli) take him in. He turns out to be a dope fiend, and they struggle to cure him. One day, Barbara shows the man a play that she has written and he suggests some changes. She makes them and sends it off to a producer, Allen (John Cossar), who accepts it. Since she wants to surprise him, she hides this information from Peter, but he becomes jealous when he sees her with Allen. Meanwhile, a wealthy young woman has come to Peter, who is an architect, to design her a new home. So Barbara, in turn, becomes jealous. Finally everything gets straightened out -- it is discovered that the bum was once a very well-off playwright, and the rich woman is his daughter.
