Both Agent Dave Worth (Kirk Alyn) and his colleague, Steve Evans (James Dale), manage to bail before their vehicle crashes into the wayward ambulance. At the office of Professor Williams (Bruce Edwards), Dave discovers traces of barnaric, a drug used to feign the professor's illness. Much to the consternation of Nila (Carol Forman) and her chief henchman, Gordon (Roy Barcroft), the agents obtain the address for the only barnaric customer in the area, Haskell (Tom Steele), Nila's pilot. After the obligatory shootout, Haskell attempts to flee but Dave catches up with him. As the chapter comes to its conclusion, Dave's car slams into the airplane.
