Celebrated Rumanian animator Ion Popescu-Gopo directs his interpretation of the Johann Wolfgang Goethe classic in Faust XX. Emil Botta plays a professor who sells his soul to the devil. A female nightclub singer entertains in what is supposed to be the gateway to hell, and the devil puts the soul of the old professor into his boyfriend.
