Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Fate's Plaything was based on the C. F. Harding novel Oranges and Lemons. Filmed on location in Holland, this is story of a woman with a fickle husband. Showing his true colors when their child falls ill, hubby abandons the wife, leaving her destitute. But fear not, the woman's True Love will save the day. The "Constance Worth" and "Bruce Gordon" who star in Fate's Plaything are not the talkie-era Hollywood performers of the same names.
