Synopsis by Augustine Chay
Danielle Macdonald, Joanna Lumley, Hugh Skinner, Shazad Latif, and Gary Lewis star in co-writer and director Ben Lewin’s romantic comedy. A young fund manager quits her job, ditches her longtime boyfriend, and pursues her dream of becoming an opera singer. She travels to the Scottish Highlands to train with a famous and exacting former opera diva, hoping to enter a competitive singing contest. But her rivalry with a fellow male student ignites the spark of romance.
