Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Hosted by former FBI profiler Jack Trimarco, this Court TV game show was a spin on To Tell the Truth for a generation weaned on the court trials of O.J. Simpson, Michael Skakel, and the like. It was up to the contestants to guess whom among them were truthful and whom were just plain lying. It wasn't easy: Some of the best prevaricators were those who looked the contestants straight in the eye when spinning their webs of deceit. Created by John and Charlie Siskel, Fake Out first aired October 1, 2003.
