Written by Indian author Niranjan Pal, the three-reel Faith of a Child was produced by London's Lotus Feature Film Company. Set in British India, the story is motivated by the insurrectionist activities of a Hindu fanatic. As counterbalance, the film's nominal hero is likewise a Hindu. A climactic confrontation between the fanatic's forces and the British troops has the salutary effect of separating the heroes from the heels and also justifies the "faith of a child" referenced in the title. All the profits accrued by this film were donated to the Indian Soldiers' Fund.
