Synopsis by Mark Deming

One of the first alternative rock bands to break through to mass acceptance in the United States prior to the grunge explosion, Faith No More blended metal, rap, funk, pop, and experimental sounds to create a strange and adventurous sonic bouillabaisse that was all their own. Faith No More: Video Croissant collects eight music videos the group produced between 1988 and 1992, along with on- and off-stage footage of the band on tour in Brazil and a rare live appearance on the short-lived television show Hanging With MTV. Selections include "Epic," "We Care a Lot," "A Small Victory," "Midlife Crisis," and more.
