Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Debuting on the first anniversary of the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, Faces of 9.11 was a three-part documentary series, with all three episodes telecast back to back. The first segment, "Portraits of Grief," was tied in with a New York Times series in which families and friends of the victims shared their memories. This was followed by "After 9.11: Rebuilding Lives," and finally "Rebuilding Ground Zero." Faces of 9.11 was a presentation of the Discovery Channel cable service.
