Produced variously at the CBC facilities in Toronto and Vancouver, Exploring Minds was a series of college lectures emanating from virtually all of the Canadian provinces. The higher seats of learning represented herein included the University of Ottawa, Carletoon, and McGill. Despite the static nature of the program, the series managed to be both lively and provocative. Telecast first on Mondays and then on Sundays (with time off during the summer months), Exploring Minds aired from October 5, 1953 to April 15, 1956.
