Synopsis by Sally Barber
A four-part series, Exploring Environments examines the ways in which animals adapt to different and distinct habitats. Footage captures exotic creatures in their home environments and raises awareness of the complexities of the natural world. Part four, Reptiles, introduces viewers to an astonishing range of creatures from tiny lizards to giant crocodiles, snakes, tortoises, and turtles. A wildlife ranger hosts this look at these cold-blooded, scaled members of the animal kingdom. Other programs in the series are At Home in the Rain Forest, Frogs and Toads, and At Home on the Barrier Reef. The programs are best suited for elementary and junior high youth.
