A four-part series, Exploring Environments examines the ways in which animals adapt to different and distinct habitats. Footage captures exotic creatures in their home environments and raises awareness of the complexities of the natural world. Part three, Frogs and Toads, is hosted by a wildlife ranger who explains the life cycle of frogs. The study traces amphibian development from the larval stage through full maturity. Highlighted are the cane toad, its origins and habitat. Other programs in the series are At Home in the Rain Forest, At Home on the Barrier Reef, and Reptiles. The programs are best suited for elementary and junior high youth.
