Synopsis by Steve Blackburn

The second volume in the Exploitation Classics features another dose of previews and promos for sensationalized films that titillate audiences with promises of sordid sex, violence, and/or tawdriness, including The Cocaine Fiends (1936), directed by William A. O'Connor; Rat Pfink and Boo-Boo (1965), directed by Ray Dennis Steckler, a tale of would-be super heroes; Psych-Out (1968), director Richard Rush's dated tale of psychedelic bad trips, starring Susan Strasberg, Bruce Dern, and Jack Nicholson; Wild in the Streets (1968), wherein all Americans over 30 are put out to pasture and fed LSD, directed by Barry Shear and starring Shelley Winters and Hal Holbrook, featuring Christopher Jones as the young rock-star president of the United States; and Caged Heat (1974), director Jonathan Demme's "women in prison" flick.
