Synopsis by Gönül Dönmez-Colin
A tired, sick and aging belly-dancer and a bus boy with dreams become entangled in the claustrophobic atmosphere of a small town. The belly-dancer waits for the day when she can pay all her debts to the "house" to leave and have a "normal" life with her sister. The bus boy is looking for a way out of his poverty by escaping to Germany. The settling of the characters' accounts with their respective pasts is narrated with flashbacks in this first film from two women directors with television experience. The rather theatrical structure is at times a drawback, but the fact that all characters are played by the duo of Ahmet Ugurlu and Bennu Yildirimlar adds an interesting dimension.
