Synopsis by Jonathan Crow
So-so (Man So), Fei-fei, and Hua-Hua (Amy Yip Chi-mei) are a ghosts rendered in mortal form as voluptuous young women. If they manage to maintain their human shape for 36 days, they will become immortal. Even though the Taoist priest Hsuan Kuei (Lam Chung) warns them against it, the temptations of the flesh soon be too much for the three, especially when they take in handsome scholar Wu Ming (Sin Lap-man). Not long afterwards, Wu Ming has seduced all three of the women, in a series of prolonged, gauzily shot love scenes. Soon the woman find themselves devolving into animals while Wu Ming reveals himself to be not quite whom he seems. Nam Nai-choi directs this cult softcore classic that proved to be a box-office smash, spawning two sequels.
