Synopsis by Josh Ralske

A new homicide detective is assigned to the case. Marina (Cecilia Roth) has been trained as a coroner and a psychiatrist, and has a masters in scientific research. She also has a very strange and surprisingly lucrative hobby about which her fellow officers know nothing. She plays Russian roulette for money! Examining the way the killer displays his handiwork, she surmises that he might have some experience working in a funeral parlor. Laura (Paola Krum) receives an email with another epitaph, which reads, "Here lies he who was unable to distinguish between trash and miracles." When Renzo (Julio Chávez) tries to tell Marina about the new clue, she cavalierly tells him she doesn't want to hear it. The killer is toying with them, and, she tells him, "Nobody wastes my time." Renzo was already hesitant to work with Marina, but now he's furious, and presses Marcos (Villanueva Cosse) for information about Marina's father, who was also a cop. Meanwhile, Bruno has already abducted his next victim, the elderly Professor Sobral (Elita Aizemberg), who is clearly suffering from dementia. Bruno (Antonio Birabent) quizzes her on how, to his mind, she ruined his life, and set in motion the events that led to the horrible fire, during a student retreat years earlier. Marina tracks down a travel agency where Bruno once worked, and learns that he was fired for sexually harassing a student. Laura gets a scare when she studies the possible composites of Bruno on the Identikit, and recognizes one of her patients. She has an appointment with him the next day, so Renzo, without notifying Marina, assembles a small team of cops to set a trap.
