Synopsis by Laura Mahnken

Follow the footsteps of a Hungarian Gypsy as she attempts to uncover the secrets behind the murder of her Gypsy husband. She begins her investigation by interviewing fortune tellers, the police, and various witnesses. Her frustration grows as she is continually railroaded and ignored by people in the position of power to answer all her questions. Enemy Mine: Hungary - Where the Water Is Deep teaches an important lesson about an ordinary individual challenging the system and the obstacles one encounters along the way.
