Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Empty Suitcases is an experimental 55-minute exercise in contemporary alienation. The central character is a young woman torn between two responsibilities. First, there's her lover in New York. Second, there's the new job awaiting her in Chicago. Shuttling between cities, our heroine slowly becomes isolated from all her responsibilities--and loses most of her sense of responsiveness.
