Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
This obscure silent Western was one of ten produced by Joseph Saneth's Lariat company for release by Vitagraph in 1925. Pete Morrison, a real-life cowboy from Colorado, starred along with his horse Blackie. In The Empty Saddle, Morrison got above-average opposition from such veteran villains as Bud Osborne, the flat-nosed Lew Meehan, and that wonderful sagebrush vixen Ruth Royce.
