Synopsis by Travis Norris
When Peter (Will Smith) finds out that Lincoln has emancipated the slaves, he comes up with a plan to escape. Living in Louisiana surrounded by treacherous swamp land, the escape will not be easy. Driven by nothing but the vision of his family, Peter gives everything he can to escape the vicious owners of the plantation. This historical thriller is based on a true story.
