Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Canadian singer Eleanor Collins starred in two separate CBC variety shows, both of which bore her first name as the title. The first version of Eleanor was a 30-minute weekly, telecast between June 19 and September 11, 1955. Collins returned for a second series, this one lasting minutes per program, from February 1 to March 28, 1964. Both editions of Eleanor were produced at the CBC's Vancouver facilities, and both featured the star's longtime accompanist Chris Gage.
