The perpetual allure of Eva Duarte Peron and her myth and mystery has generated yet another documentary feature, this one devoted in part to locating her body, which was moved by political enemies after her death to prevent the populace from making it into a shrine. The filmmaker worked with Eva in making the only film she had a leading role in (La Prodiga), and he was able to interview the populist saint's friends and associates, as well as including stock film footage and photographs to illuminate the course of her extremely dramatic life. In addition to being a straight documentary, this film includes some re-enactments which are used to connect its archival and history segments.
