A Greek Army captain (Angelos Antonopoulos) introduces his wife Irene (Lily Papayanni) to his best friend and sergeant (Costas Karageorgis) in this romantic drama. The sergeant and the wife fall in love and try but fail to stop seeing each other. When the captain is sent on a dangerous mission and is wounded, the sergeant lies to Irene and says her husband is dead, and when the husband comes back alive, the sergeant deserts and tries to take Irene with him across the border. The captain sends a unit of soldiers out to recapture the wayward lovers. Irene and the sergeant are soon surrounded and find there is no way to escape.
