Synopsis by Farida Ezzat
The biopic centers on the inspirations and tribulations of French architect Gustave Eiffel. Commissioned by the government to design an impressive contribution for the 1889 Paris World Fair, Eiffel feels uninspired and cornered. One day, Eiffel meets Adrienne Bourges and falls madly in love. Her rich family refuses to let them marry. What follows is a tragic love story that tests the power of destiny, leading to the construction of one of the world’s most iconic monuments. Starring Romain Duris, Emma Mackey, and Pierre Deladonchamps. Written and directed by Martin Bourboulon.
